Patience, is it a virtue? I can't wait to find out.

Patience is a virtue they say.

Who's they?

The hidden wise men who can never face the wisdom they expose us to.

Patience is often useful but its opposite is as powerful.

After all, if we all waited to become better, nothing would change. We need to act to change the world (nothing new there.) And acting requires a certain form of impatience. The form that challenges the status quo, that challenges ideologies, that challenges current wisdom, and in many cases, that challenges reality. The fools who've redesigned our world and History have never been known to be patient individuals...

To be patient requires the will to wait, to often be idle in the face of reality. It often works. God does work in mysterious ways and often forces us to develop such patience (often to our benefit.)

To be impatient requires control and a force of life that can only be described as courage.

Use both.
