It can be with a loved one, a friend or a colleague, we act in a way that if someone did that to us, we'd simply say: 'what an idiot.'
What pushes us to behave a such a manner? So many psychological reasons but one of the main one is pride. Pride can be such a killer. It makes us do things (with our consent) that in a normal state of mind we'd probably wouldn't.
How do we get rid of pride?
Well, funnily enough, one way is to recognise that we can be such idiots at time and that we don't always have our wits at hand. We loose it, we regress, we don't think, whatever the reason, we sometimes act in a such a way that is humbling...if we recognise what we just did.
